What did we get up to this weekend?

Our outing on Saturday was to White Ridge Farm at Elimbah. We always enjoy visiting the farm. We fed the animals, patted and brushed the baby animals, and rode on a trackless train and had a tractor ride. We played mini golf and explored the farm’s unique playground for a spell. Where else would you find a piano, old-fashioned typewriter and public phone?

For dinner on Saturday, we made our own mini pizzas. The more adventurous of us even created our own 2-ingredient pizza dough. We chose our toppings, from pepperoni, ham, capsicum, mushrooms and pineapple.

On Sunday we went to the cinema to see “Elemental”.

The story follows fire element Ember Lumen and water element Wade Ripple, who meet and fall in love after Wade is summoned by a plumbing accident at a convenience store owned by Ember's father, Bernie. We enjoyed munching on our popcorn as we watched the movie.

Over the weekend, we enjoyed activities at home, including building Lego, drawing and creating artistic canvases and playing games together and on our own.
